Solidarity, I Stand With You

I stand with you
Because you stand with me
We all stand together
We stand in solidarity

We are a movement
Stand for right and good
Leave no one behind
We all bleed red blood

Stand up all Socialists
WIth our sisters and brothers
All stand together as one
We support one another

We are stronger in unity
Fighting for one and all
We are a socialist movement
Together we can stand tall

Be loud and be proud
Stand strong and stand tall
Let’s not be divided
For divided we fall

So I stand with you
Because you stand with me
Let’s all stand together
Let’s stand in solidarity

Not A True Christian Mrs. May

When I was a young lad
I went to Sunday School
I learnt a lot of good things
But I must have been a fool
I was told so many times
Christians are loving and caring
Yet under the guise of austerity
There is no helping and sharing
So no I don’t blame Christians
The majority follow Gods laws
It’s just Theresa May and tories
With their inherent evil flaws

Solidarity

Solidarity to all Socialists, fight the good fight. Though some of us may fall by the wayside, overcome and engulfed by anguish and pain, the fight is still important for everyone else. The many need the fight to be won, so less or no casualties will be lost in the battles.

Me Or Not Me

I didn’t pick or choose to fall
I never chose to stumble
There are words I’d like to say
That come out in a mumble
Can you love but still be wrong
Can friends become new lovers
Respect is not a given it’s earned
Stand up with sisters and brothers
If I could ever be myself
If my love I could freely show
Within one life of self disdain
True love I will never know

I Will Never Treat You Second Class.

Said to me;
I do not put work before you and your health and welfare, but. I will go in on my day off instead of being able to be there for you. I will go in early, rather than stay with you. I will go the direct route, straight across the road to enter the works doors as soon as possible, yet on leaving take a slight detour to take my time returning to you. I will go out with friends from work, rather than be with you. I will post happy pictures, even profile pictures of myself with friends from work, rather than images of you.

My reply;
At the best of times this would make someone feel insecure, unwanted maybe even feel like they do not or should not exist. Yet in the context of my long-term Mental Health issues, the recent past months of torment not seeing my Grandson, and the current sad date of February 16th, well talk about ill judgement and bad timing. Hey it’s only me though, isn’t it. What does it matter to hurt or cause me anymore pain. Nothing of course. I am irrelevant a nobody. Thank you.

RIP Gordon Banks

The world’s greatest
Number one
Up to heaven
Now has gone
A humble man
Achieved such feats
As a keeper
Kept clean sheets
Now with angels
Take to the skies
We think of you
Tears mist our eyes
Though tinged with sadness
We do say thanks
For the irreplaceable
Gordon Banks

Homelessness Kills

See the bodies
Lying on the streets
Some still breathing
Others dying in their sleep
Merely shadows
Of their former self
Given no support
Ailing to their health
While politicians
Concerned with greed
Amass all the wealth
For their own need
Fairer distribution
Money is to be shared
Lives would be enhanced
The rich just do not care
On icy concrete beds
Some last breaths are taken
Life turn unto corpse
Never to be awaken

That’s A Tory

They break the law
They start the wars
They kill the poor
That’s a Tory
They hate the truth
They are the few
They control you
That’s a Tory
They are the greed
They need to cease
They are diseased
That’s a Tory

Equality Is Natural, Inequality Is Taught

I suffer from Mental Health issues. I suffer depression and anxiety and have difficulty in social situations. Yet you may mock me, insult me, abuse me or try to hurt me. As if I am not hurting enough already, so you are hardly the cause of my problems, you merely exacerbate them. Even though you do this, knowing you are yourself only a split moment of unknown and unseen future trauma away from that which might trigger Mental Health issues for you. I do not wish how I feel on my worst enemy, and even though you have been an agent of pain and hurt towards me, I would be there to support you in that time of need. I know all too well that help and support is more important, as is understanding, than bullying, aggression or blind ignorance of the health of others.

When all is said and done, we are first and foremost humans, anything beyond that is always a source of power and control. Be it, race, religion, sexuality, colour, nationality, disability or more. Look at me as a human, and you will see how equal we really are, start looking at me or others beyond human, then you want to control me or others. Equality is the basis of all that is decent in humanity, and we start equal and end equal. In-between we start to make rules about people, how we look and view them as different for various reasons. We are not different, we are individuals, we look different, act different, talk different, but we are the same underneath all of those traits. If you don’t speak or understand someone else’s language that is no reason to mock. Same if you don’t understand their culture or religion. As for looks or colour, why on earth should that even be considered a fair target for abuse or grief. The same with disabilities, how is someone’s different ability to yours make them an easy target? We all still live, breathe the same air, bleed when we are cut, need food and water to survive.

So we are equal, keep it as simple as that and the world would be a much better place for all of us to exist and live in. Equality is not something we should aspire to achieve, as it is within us from the very first cell of our being. It is the inequality we learn as we grow and develop, or worse still, that is taught to us by those who think they are superior already, that we should stop and prevent. It is a disease, not a natural human trait, it should be vaccinated against right from the start. We are not born to be unequal, those already around now are the moral teachers and guides, and those that are already infected by the hate need re-educating to prevent them spreading their bitterness and hatred they have inside them from their own upbringing.

Once we start off talking and saying we need to bring equality into our world, we are already then starting the cycle of inequality. The adults infected now by hatred and bigotry and more do need this, but a child starts off equal in the very beginning, don’t preach inequality to them. They won’t see inequality if it is not told to them, they will only see equal, right from the start. Children don’t start off hating, or with a reason to hurt others based on nothing more than differences. Parents, peers, teachers of hate, the famous and politicians are role models, they should set the standard and benchmark for us all to which we live our lives. Influencing the child at the time when they are learning about people and the world around them is dangerous, and the root of inequality. Let them grow and learn about people through their own minds and eyes. Do not poison them, by all means education is vitally important, but that should be about self improvement, not about power over their fellow human beings. The basis of equality is that we are all human, the basis of humanity is that we are all equal.
